Return to Barcelona 2017! Loret de Mar

I was invited by Montse Lafando Dibujando Drawings to take a drive to Loret de Mar with a couple of her friends to a festival and sketchwalk with Urban Sketchers Girona. Lloret de Mar is a town on the Costa Brava in Spain's Catalonia region, known for its Mediterranean beaches. We stopped for a coffee and a walk along the beachfront before getting back in the car.

Our ultimate destination was the little community of Alegries, where the festival was taking place. I jumped at the chance to go, to sketch, and meet new people! What a delightful time I had! We were all given a sheet of watercolor paper and asked to sketch, after which they were hung on a line. The most fun part of the day was sharing a roasted chicken dinner and drinking wine!
