|Day 16 - Pink Flower (freesia?)|
Today's painting was actually done at home. We're going to Richmond to see Chris and Kyla and but I wanted to paint this before they faded. A whole different color palette for this one. All watercolor with graphite drawing beneath. I had bought a bouquet for our Opening Reception last week and they are still beautiful.
|Blue flowers just for fun!|
Today I worked on two paintings at a time! I was finishing the yellow flowers and while the paint was drying I worked on this one - Blue flowers - completely made up out of my imagination (probably why it's a bit flat!) But it was a lot of fun and it was done with watercolor and acrylic and some black india ink and white gouache! Another mixed media experience.
