Visit to Milwaukee - Bay View Gallery Night
Bob and I arrived in Milwaukee by plane out of Baltimore, into General Mitchell International Airport and hit the ground running! It was Bay View Gallery Night and art galleries and shops participating in exhibiting art were open. The streets were full of people out enjoying the beautiful weather, dining outside on the wide sidewalks in front of the many restaurants that have popped up in the popular, art-centered Milwaukee neighborhood. Our daughter Jessica, professional stage manager at Next Act Theatre, grew up in our art-conscious home and loves these kinds of events. We had a blast.
We were in Milwuakee to celebrate Jessica's birthday and attend the party she was throwing on Saturday. Here's another "photo essay" of the night. It was around sunset as we walked the streets, enjoying all sorts of art and the fun shops in Bay View.
