The Governor thinks "This Place Matters"

We were so excited to hear the Governor of Delaware, Governor Jack Markell was coming to visit our little town of Milford, in the heart of Delaware! Long a supporter of our fair city, he came down from Wilmington to see the progress on the Riverwalk Center for the Arts and downtown businesses and to take part in our campaign to win $25,000 from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. All it takes is to get more people to vote for Milford's "This Place Matters!" To vote, click here. We thank you so much!

Delaware Governor Jack Markell and Downtown Milford Inc.'s President, Scott Angelucci, standing on N.W. Front Street, our main downtown street declaring that "This Place Matters"

Giving the Governor a tour of the studios (including mine!) in the Riverwalk Center for the Arts, upstairs from the Mispillion Art League.

Former Mayor Dan Marabello has been a huge help in getting the Riverwalk Center ready for occupancy.
