A Painting a Day - Day 20 - Orange on Blue Table

Orange on Blue Table, acrylic on paper 8"x8"

Today's subject was a juicy orange. I think the perspective is a bit off - I think I have to fix the dark splotch at the right side that looks like the navel - that should just be orange there with some shadow.

I was trying to contrast the bright orange color with the blue table and set the light hitting the orange across the left front, top and side. There are certain things I like about it - the bright light and the blue glow.

Not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow. I'll have to raid my fridge!
