My Easter Basket

I'm such a big kid, I had to color some eggs. Nothing fancy this year - I just boiled 6 eggs (two of them cracked!) and used blue and green food coloring - they turned out sort of monotone but the surprising thing was the designs that appeared - are not of my doing! I rinsed the eggs before I put them in the dye but I'm thinking the chickens got creative with these eggs and put their own markings ("chicken scratches"??) on them! I've never seen anything like this, have you?
