Milton, Delaware - Garden Tour, July 11, 2009

I was asked to participate in the down of Milton, Delaware's annual Garden Tour, sponsored by the Milton Garden Club which took place yesterday. There were at least 15 artists painting in each of the 12 gardens, plus demonstrations of qult making, pottery making, master gardens answering questings and more to entertain those who came out on this gorgeous day. Steve Rogers, and extremely talented local artist and I shared MJ and Mike Ostinato's beautiful garden - he painted there in the morning and I took over in the afternoon. I was a bit nervous to set up and "paint!" on demand but once I got started and selected my subject I got lost in the drawing and painting and it was alright. Thank you to MJ and Mike for having me and all the people who came out. It was a lovely day!
