Sampler Saturdays At Dover Art League: Watercolors with Rosemary

My traditional end of workshop photo

Just got home from teaching one of Dover Art League's 2-hour Sampler Saturdays. Fourteen people signed up for the free workshop, with the league providing all the materials and me, the instructor! It was a great group of people who were eager to learn about painting in watercolor. A few had experience with oils or acrylics, or drawing, jewelry, pottery, but not with watercolor. I always try to make it accessible and fun, whatever your level of experience is and hope that at the end of the day everyone had fun. Several of the attendees said they would like DAL for offer a full blown workshop and I'm discussing this possibility with them. Hopefully they will offer one of my all day workshops some time this Fall, when I'll resume teaching again after my summer hiatus (that is after this month of June!).

Next week it's Gilda Jennings with jewelry making, and the following week painting on tiles with Nina Spencer. If you are interested, call the Dover Art League to register! 302-674-0402 or stop by during gallery hours - Wednesday – Friday 11am – 4pm, Saturday 10am – 3pm

Here are some of the photos I took this morning:
