A Painting a Day - Day 31 - Tropical Flowers

Tropical Flowers in a purple vase, San Juan, Puerto Rico - watercolor

I had fun with this one today. It is based on another sketch from my Puerto Rico journal. It's got lots of glazing, layer upon layer to bring a deepness and richness to the color. I had to force myself to "step away from the painting" so I wouldn't muddy it up.
